A little relief at N.B. gas pumps

It’s a little cheaper to fill up Saturday morning across New Brunswick.

The Energy and Utilities Board invoked the interrupter clause Friday night, dropping the maximum price of regular gas 6.2 cents.

The maximum now sits at $1.95.

The maximums for diesel, furnace oil and propane remain unchanged.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.88 to $1.90 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $2.20 and $2.22 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is $2.03 per litre, diesel costs $2.38 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of about $1.76 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board makes its regular weekly adjustment to prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
