The provincial government has announced the equipment at Fundy Linen will be upgraded to the tune of $1.4 million. 12 new jobs will be added.
The Minister responsible for Service New Brunswick, Dr. Ed Doherty says without proper laundry, surgeries will stop and there’s the danger of infections spreading.
$250 thousand dollars will be spent on setting up a linen depot in Moncton as the laundry at the Georges Dumont Hospital is closing.
