A full court press is now underway to attract new business to the just finished barge terminal in Lorneville.
Overtures have been made at the Newfoundland oil and gas show and the mod fab show in Calgary. The General Manager of Saint John Industrial Parks Brian Irving says things are quiet now in Alberta and Newfoundland so decisionmakers are looking at opportunities elsewhere.
Irving says all kinds of folks have come to Saint John to have a looksee at what’s on offer and left impressed.
He says there’s a need now to increase the amount of land that’s available for industrial development.
