Saint John has one less live music venue as the Somerset Pub on Churchill Boulevard has closed indefinitely.

A note posted on the door which is dated February 11th says it will remain closed as plans are developed for significant changes to the operation.
It also says updates will be posted as the plans are developed.

A check of the pub’s Facebook page shows they were open for a Superbowl party but the notice of closure was shared on February 15th.
Owner Stephen Tobias has said he’s taking a break after 20 years of running the business.
