It’s been a rollercoaster of a day when it comes to weather.
Rain followed by snow and a flash freeze. We are now being reminded of a cold snap tonight and tomorrow.
A cold air mass is tracking into our area from the northwest. The temperature will get down to minus 30 tonight and stick around there tomorrow morning.
Poor road conditions earlier today caused businesses to close including McAllister Place and the City market and forced Saint John Transit buses off the roads.

Saint John police also tweeted earlier warning that people stay off the roads until the conditions improve.
Road conditions have deteriorated. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
