A Second Arrest Made In Cranston Avenue Stabbing Incident

Another arrest has been made in a stabbing incident on Cranston Avenue in the city’s north end that sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.

A 34-year-old woman has been arrested and both her and the 16-year-old girl who was initially arrested at the scene making an appearance in court charged with aggravated assault.

Both are being held in custody pending individual bail hearings this week.

As for how the victims are doing, the 17-year-old girl has undergone surgery for internal injuries and is still in hospital however she’s expected to make a full recovery. The 20-year-old man has been treated and released from hospital.
