As winter settles in, here’s a gentle reminder that warm clothing and supplies are urgently needed by many in our community. Items like winter socks, hats, sweaters, scarves, coats, and blankets can make a real difference for someone facing the cold. Almost all of the wonderful volunteer and outreach organizations in Saint John gladly accept these donations and work tirelessly to get them into the right hands.
Winter can be challenging, but it’s also a time when community kindness shines especially bright. Each donation—big or small—helps provide comfort, warmth, and dignity to someone who needs it most. If you have an extra winter item tucked away in a closet, consider passing it along. What you no longer need could be life‑changing for someone else.
This is also a perfect moment to say thank you to those who keep our city moving during the colder months. From snowplow drivers to frontline workers and volunteers, their efforts make it possible for all of us to get where we need to go safely. Gratitude matters, and taking a moment to acknowledge their hard work goes a long way.
A thank you, a smile, and a little generosity can truly brighten someone’s day.
Love Saint John ❤️ Let’s keep looking out for one another this winter. 😊
