A 57-year-old man accused in the 2016 death of a Saint John woman made a court appearance on Friday.
Mark Andrew Carty was charged earlier this month in 43-year-old Tammy Boratynec’s death.
Her body was found in the backyard of a home on Melrose Street five years ago.
Carty was remanded with another court appearance scheduled for August 23rd.
On July 2nd, Saint John Police said an arrest had been made in the Boratynec case.
