UPDATE: Accused In Fatal Crash Has Case Adjourned

A Saint John man arrested following a fatal crash last summer has had his court case adjourned.

John Ford is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing death, and public mischief.

During an appearance Wednesday, Ford’s defence lawyer asked for more disclosure, and the matter was set over until April 15.

The charges stem from a July 9 crash involving a motorcycle on Loch Lomond Road which claimed the life of 54-year-old Scott Robertson.

Ford was arrested on January 31 along with fellow west side resident Ann Mary Savoy.

She is facing three charges, including public mischief, obstructing justice, and perjury.
