The feedback is positive on the brand new marquee at the Imperial Theatre.
From design to reveal, the project took 18 months to complete. The new marquee has three sides and features chaser lights and scrollwork.

At the marquee reveal on Friday, Executive Director Angela Campbell says when it came to the design they wanted to include elements of the previous marquees over the 105-year history of the building.
“And there were seven in total. And of course, we also wanted to include new modern elements and I have to say I am absolutely overjoyed with the final result.” Campbell said.
Campbell says the previous marquee was in disrepair after 25 years in use.

“The magnetic letter system that existed on that marquee was starting to cause some serious safety concerns. We manually changed that daily so, it was time for a change.” Campbell said.
