ACM NOMINEE HIGHLIGHTS

61st Academy of Country Music Awards

Women dominate the nominations, with a powerhouse showing led by Megan Moroney, who tops the list with nine nominations. Close behind are Miranda Lambert with eight, followed by Ella Langley and reigning Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, who are tied with seven nominations each.

Megan Moroney emerges as the most-nominated artist of the year, leading across categories with nine total nods. The breakout star earns her first-ever nominations for Entertainer of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year, alongside her third consecutive nominations for Female Artist of the Year and Visual Media of the Year for “6 Months Later”—this year recognized both as an artist and for the first time as a director. Moroney also scores nominations for Song of the Year (“Am I OK?”) as both artist and songwriter, Single of the Year (“6 Months Later”), and Music Event of the Year for “You Had To Be There” with Kenny Chesney.

The most-decorated artist in ACM Awards history, Miranda Lambert, earns eight nominations, marking her biggest nomination year since 2016. She logs her 17th Female Artist of the Year nod and her ninth nomination for Song of the Year, bringing her total to 16 career nominations in that category when factoring in both artist and songwriter credits.

Fresh off her win as ACM New Female Artist of the Year, Ella Langley racks up seven nominations. Highlights include her first nod for Artist-Songwriter of the Year and her first producer credit, earning a nomination for Single of the Year for “Choosin’ Texas.”

Reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, Lainey Wilson, also celebrates seven nominations. The streak continues with her fourth consecutive Female Artist of the Year nomination and third straight Entertainer of the Year nod—categories she’s won every time she’s been nominated. Her Song of the Year nomination for “Somewhere Over Laredo” marks her fifth consecutive year in the category and ninth overall nomination when including artist and songwriter credits.

On the men’s side, Chris Stapleton, the reigning Male Artist of the Year, leads with six nominations, including his fifth consecutive Entertainer of the Year nod and an impressive 11th straight nomination for Male Artist of the Year, an award he’s already won five times.

Zach Top, the reigning New Male Artist of the Year, lands five nominations, including his first ever for Male Artist of the Year. His hit “I Never Lie” earns multiple nods—Song of the Year (as both artist and songwriter) and Single of the Year.

Cody Johnson continues his momentum with a third consecutive nomination for Entertainer of the Year, along with a fourth straight Visual Media of the Year nod for “The Fall.”

Riley Green scores four nominations, including his first-ever nominations for Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe)), and Artist-Songwriter of the Year, plus his third consecutive Music Event of the Year nomination.

Morgan Wallen earns his fourth consecutive nominations for both Entertainer of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year, alongside his third career Album of the Year nod for I’m The Problem.

Luke Combs continues his remarkable run with seven consecutive nominations in both Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year categories. A win for Entertainer would secure Combs the prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award, joining an elite group that includes Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Kenny Chesney. He also earns his third nomination for Artist-Songwriter of the Year.

Jelly Roll keeps the streak alive with his third consecutive Entertainer of the Year nomination.

Parker McCollum celebrates a milestone with his first-ever nomination for Album of the Year for Parker McCollum.

Group and duo standouts continue their dominance, with Old Dominion earning their 11th consecutive Group of the Year nomination. Already the category’s longtime champions, the band has claimed the trophy for eight straight years, surpassing Rascal Flatts for the most consecutive wins ever.

Brothers Osborne add to their legacy with their 19th overall nomination and 12th straight year nominated for Duo of the Year, an honor they’ve won four times.

Kelsea Ballerini earns her ninth nomination for Female Artist of the Year, while Rascal Flatts pick up their 14th nomination for Group of the Year.

Country icon Reba McEntire marks a special return, earning her first nomination since 2020 and seventh career nod for Music Event of the Year for “Trailblazer.”

Rounding out the highlights, every Song of the Year nominee is also credited as a songwriter on their track—underscoring the strength of artist-driven storytelling—with Miranda Lambert earning two nominations in the category.
