Aglukkaq Announces $20 Million for National Parks in NB

$20 million dollars from the Feds for Fundy and Kouchibouguac National parks.

The investment will include work to restore and rehabilitate important parts of those park.

Parks Canada Minister and Minister of Environment Leona Aglukkaq was in Saint John for the announcment.

She says no other government in history has shown this kind of committment to Parks Canada and part of this investment will go towards critical Parks Canada infrastructure in New Brunswick.

Aglukkaq says the impact of these investments will be felt locally and regionally for many years to come.
