Almost 35,000 vote on day 1 of N.B. municipal advance polls

New Brunswickers will be casting ballots again today for day 2 of advance voting for the upcoming municipal election.

The polls are open from 10 am until 8 pm on Monday, May 4.

Check the voter card you received in the mail to know where you can vote, or visit Elections NB online.

Close to 35,000 New Brunswickers cast ballots on Saturday, which was the first day of advance voting.

“That’s in addition to over 12,000 votes cast during early voting at the 18 returning offices,” Elections NB Spokesperson Paul Harpelle told our newsroom.

It appears voter numbers are up compared to the first day of advance polls in 2022, when almost 29,000 voted.

May 11 is municipal election day in New Brunswick.
