Amazon Web Service outage knocks out popular apps, websites and games

A massive outage for some major apps and internet services this morning.

Amazon’s Web Services went down in the early hours of Oct. 20, taking out apps like Snapchat and Disney Plus and video games like Fortnite and Roblox.

The platform hosts servers and offers cloud storage and databases.

As of about 7:45 a.m. AST, Amazon said all services were back online.
