Long time Common Councillor Bill Farren is running for Mayor. He has served on Common Council for 12 years and retired recently from Moosehead.
Farren says one thing he would like to see happen is for the museum to be moved to the Coast Guard site and a sports centre at Exhibition Park. There has been a lot of talk for years about development taking place at the Coast Guard site but nothing has ever happened.
Deputy Mayor Shelley Rinehart and consultant Don Darling earlier announced they’ll be running for the Mayoralty.
