Another Court Date For Murder Suspect Matthew Tucker

Another court date for a local man accused of killing his mother.

34 year old Matthew Tucker in St. Stephen Court this afternoon, wearing a grey sweatsuit and full beard.

Tucker is charged with second degree murder in the death of his mother, 53 year old Dorothy Tucker.

Judge Henrick Tonning setting aside four days for a preliminary hearing, which will begin Tuesday, June 23rd, in St. Stephen.

Tucker also elected to be tried by judge and jury.

In November, Dorothy Tucker’s unrecognizable body was found in the woods by two hunters in St. David Ridge.

Only a few family members were in attendance, as compared to a packed courtroom on previous dates.
