Another Incident of Potato Tampering In Nova Scotia

Yet another incident of potato tampering in Nova Scotia.

The RCMP in the Annapolis Valley say a nail has been found in a spud in the small town of Berwick.

Investigators say a resident turned-in the tampered potato earlier this week and the bag it was in.

The potato was in one of two-5 pound bags of Russet potatoes purchased at a store in the town.

The RCMP is asking anyone finding tampered potatoes to contact them or CrimeStoppers.

This is the latest in half a dozen or more incidents province-wide in the past couple of weeks.
