He had a life many of us would envy, travelling the world talking to people, eating great food and discussing cultures and customs and governments.
Anthony Bourdain, the host of CNN’s Parts Unknown is dead at the age of 61, after an apparent suicide.
CNN has confirmed his death this morning saying Bourdain, the chef and storyteller was in Strasbourg, France, filming an upcoming episode when his best friend and colleague, Chef Eric Ripert, found him unresponsive in his hotel room this morning.

CNN aired Bourdain’s show when he visited St. John’s Newfoundland just a few weeks ago.
