Are You Concerned About Border Delays Travelling to the USA?

With a weak Loonie and possible delays at the border since the Trump administration took power in January, some Canadian travellers may be thinking twice about visiting the United States right now.

A Moncton travel agency says there has been a small drop in U.S. travel but Disney World in Florida continues to be popular with families.

Francine Patterson with Maritime Travel says when it comes to sunshine getaways, another top choice has emerged this winter.

“I would say this winter probably Cuba has been the number one. But but for sure Florida, people are still asking for it and going,” she notes.

If you are travelling to the United States, Patterson says be prepared, have a valid passport and make sure you give yourself enough time if you have connecting flights in case of any delays.
