Armed robbery at Saint John convenience store

Saint John police are seeking a suspect after an armed robbery at an east side convenience store.

Police say a man entered the store in the 1500 block of Loch Lomond Road around 9:40 p.m. Thursday.

The suspect, investigators say was armed with a weapon, demanded money and left with some cash.

“Officers responded and searched the area with the assistance of K9; however, the suspect was not located,” police said in a news release on Friday.

No physical injuries were reported as a result of the robbery, said the release.

Investigators have released video surveillance photos of the suspect as they look to identify him.
