Arrest Made After Thefts From Post-Secondary Institution

Saint John police say a 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with thefts at a local post-secondary institution.

Police say five separate incidents of theft were reported from the same institution between September and December.

“A suspect was identified and on December 17th, 2021, a surveillance team apprehended the suspect leaving a post-secondary institution in possession of stolen property,” police said in a news release Monday.

The man has been released from custody and has a court date in March to face several theft-related charges.
