A 41 year old man was arrested by police on Union Street after flagging police down. Sergeant Lori Magee says he admitted injuring his girlfriend on Elliot Row. $She was found to have suffered a broken nose with lacerations to her head.
An 80 year old man was arrested in the area of Cobourg Street after threatening a woman who was in his car with a knife and then assaulting another woman who tried to intervene. She suffered just minor injuries.
