City Police have arrested two men, aged 19 and 29, for the robbery of an elderly woman on the west side.
She was at the rear of the T-D Bank on Main Street West earlier this week when approached by two men. After a brief struggle, the two got away with her purse which was later recovered on Ready Street.
The arrests were made at the Outflow Shelter on Waterloo Street after a police officer recognised the clothing they had on matched a description he had been given.
