An alleged beating in Uptown Saint John has resulted in an attempted murder charge for a man.
Saint John Police say they were called to Carmarthen and Princess Streets yesterday afternoon after reports of an assault.
When they arrived they found a badly beaten man who was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Around 8:20 on Thursday evening police nabbed a 43-year-old man at a Queen Street residence and he is now facing a charge of attempted murder.
