Attempted Robbery During Daylight Hours In Uptown

Major Crime investigating a brazen attempted robbery in the uptown area during daylight hours.

A man telling officers that while walking along Germain Street near Union Street, a man came up to him holding a sharp object and tried to rob him but the victim took off, uninjured, and the suspect was left empty-handed.

The suspect is described as being a white man, with a big build and is about 5′ 7″. He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie.
