Baxter’s Corner Man Enters Guilty Plea On Weapons Charges

A 20-year-old Baxter’s Corner man, Stephen Frees-Hoyt will be sentenced on June 5 after pleading guilty to weapons-related charges.

Kennebecasis Regional Police got called out on April 1 to Sierra Avenue in Rothesay after reports of an altercation involving several people including a man armed with a shotgun.

Police got a complaint the shotgun had been fired through an apartment wall into an adjoining apartment. No one was home at that time.

He was arrested on Tuesday and appeared in Saint John Provincial Court and entered the guilty plea.
