Bayside man facing drug, weapons charges

A 22-year-old man from Bayside, near Saint Andrews, is facing multiple charges after a police investigation.

St. Stephen RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Highway 127 on Nov. 27.

During the search, police found and seized ammunition, drugs and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

The man appeared in Saint John provincial court on Nov. 28 and was charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He is also facing charges of unsafe storage of firearms and failure to comply with a release order.

The investigation is ongoing.
