She is a caregiver and a builder, truth teller and bridge maker. She carries invisible loads while still finding room to lift others.
She will sit at hospital beds, lead boardrooms, raise children, launch ideas, hold her family together, and keep communities strong.
She shows up every single day with courage, compassion, and an unshakeable belief that things can be better.
Her strength is patient, resilient, and deeply rooted. When She thrives, communities tranform.
The St. Joseph’s Women’s Health Centre delivers advanced screening, timely diagnostics, and supportive wellness programs right here at home, where care is close.
As medical technology continues to advance, we invest in innovation that improves outcomes and saves lives, Because She Matters.
Because She is your wife, sister, mother, daughter. #BecauseSheMatters

Advances in imaging technology over the past ten years have significantly improved clarity, precision, and diagnostic capability. Simply put, better imaging leads to better outcomes.
Each year, the St Joseph’s Women’s Health Centre performs more than 12,000 breast imaging and diagnostic procedures, including mammography, ultrasound, and biopsies.
Our current breast ultrasound is 10 years old; replacing it ensures women in our community have access to the most advanced imaging technology available, allowing for earlier detection, clearer diagnostic accuracy, and better patient outcomes when every moment matters.
The total cost of a new breast ultrasound is $120,000. The St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation is actively fundraising to meet this important goal. We invite you to make this critical upgrade possible.
