Police say one person has been found dead after a house fire on Grand Manan Island.
RCMP say they were called to a home on Route 776 in Castalia just before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Sgt. Chris Henderson said the body of a 23-year-old man was found inside the home.
Henderson said the cause of the fire has not yet been determined but it is not believed to be suspicious.
The Canadian Red Cross says it has provided emergency aid to two other adults who were living in the home.
