The body of a kayaker has been found in the Bay of Fundy.
RCMP say just before 7am, Friday, June 1st, they received a report of a man’s body and a kayak being found in the water near The Wolves, which is a group of islands between Blacks Harbour and Grand Manan.
The body and kayak were brought on board a boat belonging to Cooke Aquaculture, and then handed over to police and the coroner at the Blacks Harbour Wharf.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death, and police are working to find the man’s identity.
