Body Pulled From River In Fredericton

Fredericton police are investigating after a man’s body was found in the Saint John River.

Police were called to an area near the Princess Margaret Bridge just before 11 a.m. Thursday.

“The body has been positively identified as a 56-year old man from Fredericton, N.B.,” police said in a news release Friday.

Investigators do not believe criminality was a factor but say an autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s cause of death.
