A boil water order is now in place for parts of East Saint John after a planned water shut off today and Wednesday.
Addresses on a dozen street are impacted by this including Westmorland Road, Golden Grove Road, Skyline Drive, Reading Crescent and Roxbury Drive.
The water shutoff continues until 7 p.m. and takes place all day Wednesday is needed because of work required on the water distribution system.

Saint John Water advises not drinking any water before boiling it first.
Tap water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least a minute and then let it cool before using it or you can use bottled water.
Everyone impacted by the boil water order will be informed when it’s safe again to use the water.
