Residents in the Town of St Stephen are being asked to boil their water for the next few days.
Anyone using the municipal district water supply is affected.
All water that is to be consumed including drinking, brushing teeth, making ice, or washing food should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
Another notice will be issued once water samples are done and the advisory can be lifted.
