The auditorium at Rothesay High was jammed for the announcement of this year’s Big Rothesay Read.
The book chosen is “Indian Horse” by Richard Wagamese which follows the trials and tribulations of an Ojibway man from Northern Ontario to the horrors of the residential school system for natives to being a native hockey player in the 1960’s and the racism he endures which takes a toll on his life.
The author will be in Rothesay to speak twice at public appearances on October 29th.
