I love to read. I read a lot. Every night before bed at an absolute minimum. I read all genres too – usually a strong preference for Sci-Fi and Fantasy – though 2025 definitely leaned hard into fantasy and romance. It was a year to escape into a fun book!
Here’s my list of the books I read in 2025 – not including all the kids books that I read to my 5-year-old. That list leaned heavy on Dav Pilkey. I’m not sure if I liked Captain Underpants or Dog Man more but highly recommend both! And the 11-year-old usually does their own reading now but is still letting me read through The Marvellers series by Dhonielle Clayton with them. All three books are excellent!
