Border Traffic From U.S. Down 55 Per Cent

Statistics Canada showed just how much of an impact the closure of the Canada-U.S. border has had on cross-border travel.

Just 2.8 million trips were made by Canadians in March, the lowest number in almost 50 years.

The border was officially shut down March 21st to non-essential travel and the closure has been extended until at least June 21st.
