A recovery operation has ended in the area of Long Wharf in uptown Saint John.
Saint John police said they received a report of human remains being found in the water.
Major Crime, Forensic Services, and the Coroner’s office were all called to the scene.
The Saint John Fire Department also assisted with the recovery efforts.
Police asked the public to avoid the area and said more details will be released once available.
