The Saint John Free Public Library in Market Square is gearing up for the sixth Fog City Comic Con.
Committee member Adam Masson says the weekend event will have vendors, a cosplay parade, fan panels, interactions with authors, and workshops.
He also says the event is a great starter convention for vendors and attendees.
“We want people to have a chance to experience a larger comic event or fan event like this without having to rent a hotel or pay for tickets,” said Masson.
Masson said volunteers are still needed to play the role of gamemasters — who act as organizers — officiants regarding rules, arbitrators, and moderators for a multiplayer role-playing game.
The list of authors and vendors will be posted at a later date.
The event is free and will take place May 25 and 26. More details can be found on their Facebook page.
