Burn ban across New Brunswick

The latest update to New Brunswick’s fire watch has the whole province under a burn ban.

Every county in the province is red, meaning no burning permitted.

Burn notices are updated daily at 2 p.m. during wildfire season.

According to the province’s wildfire dashboard, there are currently three fires being patrolled – one in Northumberland County, one in Queens County and one in Saint John County.

All three are about 0.1 hectares in size and are 100 per cent contained, according to DNR.
