A temporary solution to a transportation problem facing students in the KV has been found just in time.
Quispamsis MLA Blaine Higgs says Anglophone South will continue the same busing patterns as before until Christmas.
He says it will give parents more time to make alternate arrangements if they are needed and give the parents, school district and town some time to work together on finding a permanent fix.
Parents in the KV were upset when word came down on Thursday that a new 1.5 kilometre rule would be put in place starting on Tuesday leaving little time to prepare for getting their kids home from school.
The policy would dictate that kids living less than 1.5 kilometre from school would have to walk.
