It can wait. That is the message behind a 4-week campaign aiming to reduce distracted driving in the Valley.
Krystal Daley of the K.V. Regional Police tells us it wraps with a big event on September 4th at the KV Superstore featuring experts who explain the impact an arrest or ticket can have on your insurance.
She says that ticket can impact drivers for many years down the road beyond the initial fee and point off your license.
K.V. Regional Police are posting pics and videos highlighting the dangers of distracted driving trying to put an end to the most preventable cause of collisions in Canada.
The campaign’s wrap up event will be held on Friday, September 4th from 11am to 3pm at the KV Superstore.
