Canada Post has proposed new postage rates for 2020.
For stamps purchased in a booklet, coil or pane, the rate would become 92 cents per stamp, up from the current rate of 90 cents.
The cost of a single domestic stamp for the same item would be $1.07, up two cents from the current rate of $1.05.
Proposals are subject to a 30-day negotiation.
If passed, the changes will take effect on January 13 of next year.
