Canadian Horseshoe Pitching Championship Underway In St. Stephen

Over a hundred people showing up at the Garcelon Civic Centre to welcome participants to the Canadian Horseshoe Pitching Championship.
President of Horseshoe Canada, as well as the local St. Stephen Club, Jason Rideout says it was emotional to see Earle Fraser throw the ceremonial first pitch.
Fraser is from Old Ridge and will be 91 in November.
A total of 208 pitchers from across Canada are competing at the tournament in St. Stephen, including 40 from the St. Stephen Club, which is the biggest club this side of Montreal.
Pitching started this morning at 11am. The final match for the day will begin at 5pm. The public is welcome to watch at anytime during the championships.
Saturday will be the final day.
