There are still some suffering with no power after Thursday night’s storm and the Canadian Red Cross is offering a warming and reception centre in Oromocto.
The number of customers without power is now below 200 and most of those people are in the Oromocto and Geary area, or on the opposite side of the St. John River in Lakeville Corner.
Anyone requiring heat or access to electricity can visit the Red Cross reception centre in Boardroom C of the Days Inn on Brayson Drive in Oromocto.
NB Power expects to have service restored to most customers by late this afternoon.
