Cannabis NB Provides Update On Sales

Cannabis NB stores in southern New Brunswick were quite busy during the first two days of legalized recreational marijuana.

New figures from the Crown corporation show the five stores in Saint John, Rothesay, Sussex and St. Stephen sold more than $210,000 worth of product.

The Rothesay Avenue location in Saint John racked up $59,082 in sales while the Lansdowne Avenue site recorded $41,484.

Rothesay generated $47,630, Sussex recorded $32,019 and St. Stephen raked in $30,290.

Across the province, sales from Cannabis NB’s website and 20 retail stores totalled $943,841 during the first 48 hours of operation and $2.1 million during the week.
