Cardy Downplays His Role In Flattening The Curve

As New Brunswick reopens the province, some are giving credit to those who helped contribute to the low number of COVID-19 cases.

Fredericton MP Jenica Atwin credited the education minister recently for the decision to quick action to close schools.

Dominic Cardy said he was just doing his job.

“The people who are heroes in this are the New Brunswickers who took physical distancing and other measures on board and the healthcare workers and others who have had their lives upended by this,” Cardy said.

Cardy says New Brunswickers made the decision that the virus was a threat and a risk, and they took the steps to protect their families.
