Caring Women Donate $23K to Outflow Ministry

Outflow Ministry is the latest local charity to benefit from the generosity of the Greater Saint John Women Who Care.

At Lily Lake last night, the group heard pitches from the Curly Adams Fund and the Crescent Valley Resource Centre and Outflow.

The members voted for Outflow and the received a cheque for more than $23,000.

Just over 250 members are part of the group now with most contributing $100 each.

The youngest member is Sophie Dumouchel who attends with her mom and contributes with money she raised by doing odd jobs.

Since they formed less three years ago, the 100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John have donated over $295,000 to local charities.
