Celebrating Sustainibility Efforts At A Saint John Breakfast Event

A healthy discussion about the future of sustainability in Saint John.

It was part of the Sustainable Saint John awards breakfast where many of the participants described their efforts as a way to do the right thing.

Mark McAloon of nexgen, a renewable energy developer in Quispamsis, enjoyed the panel discussion telling CHSJ News he loves how each one brought a different perspective on what sustainability means to their business.

“I get quite excited when people start to recognize how we are all connected and how this new movement of managing energy is so important to the sustainability and future of our province” said Mark McAloon.

nexgen won an award for their project where solar panels were installed at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Several companies left with hardware including Hemmings House, Saint John Airport, Kannon Animal Hospital and Clow Canada.
