Celebrations For New Brunswick Day In Fredericton

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate New Brunswick Day, head to Fredericton.

Provincial celebrations on August 1st will be held in the capital city this year.

They’ll take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a fireworks display to wrap up the night at 9:45 p.m. over the Westmorland Street Bridge.

The event will feature family-focused activities, along with multicultural performances by New Brunswick artists and musicians, including:

• Ktopatapasipon (“bringing the people together”) with Elder Hubert Francis

• Matt Comeau

• NB Black Artists Alliance – spoken word by Chevelle Malcolm

• One8tea

• Jessica Raye Trio

• La Patente

• Pretty In Pink

• David Myles
