The Calgary Stampeders have confirmed defensive back Mylan Hicks has died.
The 23-year-old died early Sunday morning after being shot at a nightclub in Calgary.
Stampeders GM and President John Hufnagel says the team’s thoughts and prayers are with Mylan’s family and calls it a “terrible tragedy”.
